Love

I am so grateful for a great family. And I mean not just my wife and kids. I love them like I've never loved before, but as I grow older and mortality seems more real, I am grateful for the lessons in love and patience taught by my parents and siblings.
We returned early this week (just after Christmas) from spending some time back "home" with most of my brothers and their families. Their generosity and laughter touched me. We stayed up too late each night playing games and laughing with each other. I have frequently been too sparse with expressing (or even hinting of) my appreciation for loved ones. May 2010 be a new beginning in that regard!
